Qatar Youth Hostels participated in the 44th World Youth Rally in Seoul, South Korea. The event was organised by the Korean Youth Hostel in co-operation with the International Hosteling under the theme "Be Friends, Best Friends".
The participation of Qatar Youth Hostels in the World Youth Rally, which was held recently, was part of the Youth Hostel's strategy to strengthen international relations with its counterparts abroad, exchange experiences and cultures and discuss international issues within the goals of sustainable development and building a network of friends.
The Qatar Youth Hostels said, in a press statement Monday, it put up a special pavilion to introduce the delegations from 15 countries to Qatar's culture. Qatar was the only Arab country that attended this youth gathering this year. The participation also highlighted the achievements of Qatar in all aspects of development, health, education, economy and sustainable development.
The Qatari youth delegation visited key tourist attractions in Seoul. The also invited their counterparts to participate in various programmes of Qatar Youth Hostels, most notably the 'Discover Qatar in 144 hours'.
