The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a traffic shifting on a 350m stretch on the carriageway of Al- Waab Street between Mehairja Junction and Al-Waab Intersection towards the south from Tuesday for five months. 
The shifting to be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic has been announced in order to facilitate the construction of Al-Waab Interchange as part of the works of Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor. Drivers can use alternative routes. 
Ashghal will install road signs to advise motorists of the diversion. Ashghal has requested all road users to abide by the speed limits and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
