Aspire Zone Foundation’s summer camp children headed to the National Museum of Qatar recently to learn about Qatar’s 700 million-year-old geological history, its ancestors and the establishment of old cities, as well as the rapid modernisation of Qatari society and its people.
The field trip, which is part of a series of field visits to Qatar’s landmarks, provided children with a rich educational and cultural opportunity and acquainted them with the heritage of Qatar through interactive chronological displays.

The summer camp 2019 programme also includes a variety of sporting activities, including athletics, gymnastics, aerobics, long jump, tennis, badminton, swimming lessons and training sessions in basketball, handball, taekwondo, football and volleyball.
The summer camp is organised in partnership with the Cultural Village Foundation – Katara, KidZania, the National Museum of Qatar, the Cage Sport, Planet Medical Centre and the STEM Xplorers.
