HE the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment for Agricultural, Livestock And Fisheries Affairs, Sheikh Dr Faleh bin Nasser al-Thani, praised the interest of citizens, residents and tourists to visit the fourth Local Dates Festival at Souq Waqif.
The number of visitors during the first four days of the festival has exceeded 15,000. Sheikh Faleh said in a remarks Frirday evening that the total sales of local dates have so far exceeded 45 tonnes. Eighty-six local farms are participating in the festival.
