The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) has announced that the dhow 'Fath Al Khair 4' has arrived in the Greek port of Salonika after a climatically challenging voyage.
In a statement on Thursday, Katara said that the Qatari embassy to Greece hosted a reception to greet the dhow. The function was attended by ambassador Abdulaziz Ali al-Nama, the Mayor of Salonika, a lineup Greek officials and a crowd of tourists and media people.

Fath Al Khair captain Mohamed Yousef al-Sada, said that the ship reached the port of Salonika, in the first leg of its European tour, after rough days in the sea. He praised the role of Katara in making this cruise a success lauding the great efforts done by Fath Al Khair sailors during the trip.
He also hailed the warm reception and hospitality they received and the great crowd that was present. 
Fath Al Khair 4, which has a 15-member crew, will resume it tour early next week heading to Mykonos Island and then to the Greek Capital Athens, Katara said in its statement pointing that Corfu Island will be Fath Al Khair's last stop in Greece before sailing to Albania, the second leg in the European tour.
