The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations delegation, currently visiting Qatar, visited the Msheireb Museums, and toured Souq Waqif Saturday. The delegation was briefed on the history of Qatar and the development currently witnessed by the country in all fields.
The delegation of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, which includes participants from Europe and North America, is visiting Qatar in co-ordination with the National Committee of the Alliance of Civilizations in order to learn about the history of the State, its historical and cultural landmarks, and to achieve closer co-operation between races, religions and cultures among peoples based on the values of truth, justice and equality.
