HE the Advisory Council Speaker Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud met Friday with Portugal's Minister of Foreign Affairs Augusto Santos Silva on the sidelines of his official visit to Portugal. During the meeting in Lisbon, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, besides discussing a number of issues of common concern. A number of Advisory Council members and Qatar's ambassador to Portugal Saad bin Ali al-Mohannadi attended the meeting.
HE the Advisory Council Speaker and his accompanying delegation arrived in Geneva from Lisbon on Friday evening to attend the 130th anniversary of the founding of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
