The Orphan Care Centre (Dreama) recently opened its new accommodation facility in the Al Kheesa area. 
The accommodation unit has been separated from the administrative building “with the aim of providing privacy and stability and securing a family-like atmosphere”, Dreama has said in a statement.
The inauguration took place in the presence of Amal bint Abdullatif al-Mannai, CEO of Qatar Foundation for Social Work (QFSW), Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser al-Misnad, executive director of Dreama, as well as the executive directors of sisterly centres. Also present were addition to representatives of supporting companies, including Ali S AlFadala, senior vice-president and CEO of Qatar Insurance Group, Amal Ajlan al-Kuwari, Public Relations and Communications manager at Muntajat, and Abdulla al-Sayed, executive director and member of the Board of Directors at Planet Medical Centre.
The new accommodation includes buildings for boys and girls, a villa for children, a villa for academic guidance and educational services, an activity building, a recreation building, a restaurant and an administrative building, the statement notes.
Moreover, some areas are assigned for practising sports and various children’s games in an appropriate and pleasant environment.
In a statement on the occasion, al-Mannai said: “The inauguration of this accommodation comes within the context of our quest for the realisation of the foundation’s vision towards supporting civil society organisations operating under the QFSW’s umbrella.” 
The new accommodation will cater to the moral, social, educational,and healthcare needs of the Dreama community, in addition to securing their privacy and psychological stability, she stressed. “Inauguration of this new building reflects our concern for applying global standards of human and child rights and providing the best services aimed at realising family cohesion in Qatar.”
Al-Misnad added, “I am glad and honoured to express, on behalf of myself and my colleagues at Dreama, to the respectful Amal bint Abdullatif al-Manai, our sincere and profound appreciation and gratitude for the generous welfare and unlimited support she offers to the centre and its projects, which has a vital impact on achieving the centre’s objectives and goals. We also seize the opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation to other entities for their support to the centre and its employees.
“Undoubtedly, all of you have contributed to the development of an environment that helps provide the best comprehensive accommodation welfare to the children who are residing in the internal care unit. Your role and efforts are enormous and worthy of appreciation and regard.”
On his part, AlFadala highlighted QIC Group’s keenness to provide continuous support to community efforts. “QIC Group has been keen to co-operate with Dreama Centre, which provides necessary care for the targeted groups in Qatar, with the purpose of creating stability and integration within the society. Such care is rendered through the provision of support for access to educational, health, psychological and legal requirements.” 
Al-Kuwari expressed satisfaction at supporting the welfare of children within the Qatari society through co-operation with Dreama, and for  providing various games in the new accommodation. Accordingly, she emphasised the company’s commitment to the community and the importance of building relationships with local institutions that contribute to the achievement of social solidarity.
Al-Sayed thanked all those who contributed to completing and equipping the new facility and hailed Dreama’s role in the community, serving the cause of orphans in Qatar, He urged all to contribute and foster partnerships for the purpose of community service. Planet Medical Centre contributed by equipping Dreama’s psychiatric clinic in strict compliance with the requirements and conditions of the Ministry of Public Health. 
The inauguration ceremony included welcome speeches beside the distribution of certificates of appreciation and shields for the sponsors, together with a tour of the new accommodation.
