Getit Group has announced the opening of its first retail outlet and fulfilment centre, Getit Mart, in Qatar.
The grand opening is scheduled tomorrow at 6.30pm at the GWC Busulba Warehousing Park, Birkat Al Awamer, Wukair.
Following the launch of its e-commerce webstore (getit.qa) on both the iOS and Android mobile platforms, this endeavour “marks the website’s continuous growth as the Best Online Shopping Portal in the country”, the company has said in a statement.
In conjunction with daily household necessities, www.getit.qa offers every type of groceries and foodstuffs ranging from vegetables, fruits, fresh meat and fish, dairy products, mobile and electronic goods, fashion apparels, home appliances, stationery, industrial products and services and more, the statement notes.
“The Group is planning to open 10 additional outlets with fulfilment centres within 2022 to reduce the current delivery lead time. Our mart will be highly beneficial to neighbouring customers in the GWC Busulba Warehousing Park for their daily shopping needs and further, this venture will support in the future development of the Birkat Al Awamer area,” said Khalid Mubarak al-Kaabi, managing director of Getit Group.
