Amir ratifies cabinet decision issuing executive regulations for Tenders and Auctions Law

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani ratified yesterday Cabinet decision No 16 of 2019 issuing the executive regulations of law No 24 of 2015 regulating tenders and auctions. The decision is effective starting the next day of its publication in the official gazette.


Amir issues decree inviting Central Municipal Council to convene
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued yesterday Amiri Decree No 33 of 2019 inviting the Central Municipal Council to convene on Sunday 4th of Dhu Al-Qa’dah 1440 corresponding to July 7of 2019. The decree is effective from the date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette.

Education ministry urges all parties to facilitate examination process for students
HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi urges all parties to facilitate the examination process and meet the requirements of the students for the end of year exams currently being held. This is so they can achieve the grades that qualify them to compete in the finest universities.
This came during HE the minister’s visits to Dukhan School for Boys and Dukhan School for Girls to check on the progress of the school exams, the readiness of the school environment and the students’ performance in the test centres, wishing them success.

Director of Public Security meets India’s envoy
HE the Director of Public Security Staff Major General Saad bin Jassim al-Khulaifi met yesterday with ambassador of India to Qatar P Kumaran. During the meeting they reviewed a number of topics of interest to both countries.
