Qatar participated in the fifth session of the Arab-China Political Dialogue in Abu Dhabi.
The Qatari delegation to the dialogue is headed by Qatar's Permanent Representative to the Arab League ambassador Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al-Sahlawi. 
The meetings in Abu Dhabi will discuss the Arab-Chinese cooperation in all fields and coordination between them in various issues and issues of interest to both sides, including the Palestinian issue, the Middle East peace process, Syria, fight against terrorism, the situation in Libya and Yemen and the security situation in the Gulf. 
Qatar also took part in the 16th session of the Arab-China Co-operation Forum, which was held in Abu Dhabi Tuesday.
Ambassador al-Sahlawi chaired the Qatar delegation.
The meetings discussed means of deepening and expanding scopes of co-operation between the two sides and developing them to broader horizons.
The participants also reviewed the various achievements made in the framework of the forum since the 8th session of the ministerial meeting. They also coordinated on issues and files of mutual concern.
