The veterinarians at Doha Municipality's meat health unit inspected 3,467 carcasses of slaughtered sheep, 84 cows and 47 camels on the eve of the Eid al-Fitr to ensure that all the necessary safety standards were in place.
Accordingly, they ordered the disposal of 38 animal carcasses for not being fit for human consumption. In addition, the food inspection teams have also continued their inspection campaigns on the various food outlets at the different food shops, and restaurants.
