HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani participated, along with leaders and heads of delegations of Islamic states, in the opening session of the 14th Islamic Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC), which was held on Friday evening at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah al-Mukarramah. The session was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying the prime minister.
HE Sheikh Abdullah returned to Doha early on Saturday, after heading Qatar's delegation to the Extraordinary Gulf Co-operation Council Summit, Extraordinary Arab Summit and Islamic Summit of the OIC, which were held in Makkah.
