The Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah met HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani at Al Diyafa Palace in Makkah on Thursday.
At the beginning of the meeting, HE Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and his good wishes to Sheikh Sabah and to the people of Kuwait continued progress and prosperity.
The Kuwaiti Amir entrusted the Prime Minister to convey his greetings to the Amir and to the Qatari people further prosperity and development.
During the meeting, they reviewed the fraternal relations between the two countries and the most important topics on the agenda of the GCC emergency summit, the Arab emergency summit and the 14th session of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation in Makkah.
The meeting was attended by Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzooq Ali al-Ghanim, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah, Minister of Finance Dr Nayef al-Hajraf, and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Minister of Municipal Affairs Fahad al-Shula.
