Qatar Charity (QC) and the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation and achieve common goals efficiently and effectively in the field of capacity building, resource mobilization, cooperation in the implementation of humanitarian programs and projects, and to exchange experiences, information and knowledge between the two parties.

According to the MoU, the two sides agreed to cooperate in the implementation of joint initiatives and exchange of information on relief and humanitarian conditions within the affected areas and crises, as well as to benefit from the capabilities of the two parties and to exchange experiences and help in the management of institutional work organization.

Qatar Charity's executive chairman Yousef Ahmed al-Kuwari said the cooperation and coordination between the concerned parties and the joint interest at the corporate level is of great importance because both parties will achieve the best results at the level of achieving the desired objectives, the integration of knowledge and experience, and to benefit from their respective preferential advantages, and this agreement will shorten a lot of time and effort.

QRCS Secretary-General Ali bin Hassan al-Hammadi, expressed his pleasure of signing the MoU with Qatar Charity in order to further enhance charity works at the internal and external levels.

Al-Hammadi wished that this agreement would have a positive role to serve the humanitarian work inside and outside the State of Qatar and to push the two sides forward so as to open the way to work in various fields. — QNA
