Ooredoo has announced a partnership with EnrichAI to enable the development of diverse Internet of Things (IoT) solutions to drive the digital transformation of Qatar’s organisations.
Across Qatar, every industry vertical is seeing strong IoT demand – in which connecting objects, devices, and people on one platform can deliver real-time insights.
The partnership builds on Ooredoo’s existing capabilities in the IoT arena to develop solutions and industry-wide products. Ooredoo expects to work on a range of solutions as varied as Smart Cities, Smart Utilities Meters, and Smart Fleet Management.
Ooredoo Qatar chief operating officer Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi said, “Our partnership with EnrichAI is an important milestone for Ooredoo to become the IoT reference provider in Qatar. The ability to develop innovative IoT solutions across sectors will play a major role in diversifying and growing Qatar’s economy, and enhance Qatar’s role as a global IoT leader.”
Ooredoo gains critical IoT capabilities with a team of developers and architects working closely with Ooredoo’s technical and commercial teams, as well as a strong team for service delivery and assurance, which plays a key role in the whole process.
These teams will design IoT solutions, from architecture to devices, and code on Ooredoo’s IoT Builder and IoT Connect platforms. Ooredoo’s teams also handle integration, as well as class A service delivery and solutions assurance.
EnrichAI chief executive officer Arijit Biswas said, “Ooredoo is now Qatar’s go-to service provider for IoT solutions. While Qatar’s CEOs understand the power of IoT, they often need assistance in implementing IoT solutions. Our partnership with Ooredoo sees our business customers able to gain bespoke IoT solutions that can accelerate digital transformation and free up IT staff.”
Business customers can leverage the ‘Ooredoo Advantage’, making Ooredoo ‘Best for Business’, thanks to its breadth and depth of talent, best fixed and mobile networks, broadest portfolio of ICT services and solutions, and trusted partner for nearly 60 years.
