His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met with the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Palestine, where Abbas briefed the Amir on the latest developments, and expressed sincere thanks to His Highness the Amir for Qatar's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and for its standing with the Palestinian people in facing the difficult circumstances and challenges.
The meeting was attended by a number of ministers and members of the official delegation accompanying the Palestinian president. His Highness the Amir hosted an Iftar banquet in honour of the Palestinian president and the delegation accompanying him at the Amiri Diwan. The banquet was attended by a number of ministers.
