The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a four-month shift of traffic on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor in both directions from north of Lekhwiya Roundabout for 450m starting on Wednesday.
The closure is to allow the construction works of a new flyover on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor.
During the four-month period, road users should make use of an alternative road parallel to the current alignment of Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor with two lanes in each direction.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
