HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi stressed the importance of early and primary education as the most important stage of the child's education on which his future and the rest of his education are based.

This came as Dr al-Hammadi met the teachers of Al-Wakrah Primary School for Girls, within the framework of his field visits to schools and dialogue with those in the field of education to discuss key issues of the educational process.

The minister listened to views related by teachers and their task, in addition to the role of the assistant teacher, the curriculum, and the burdens associated with the teaching profession. He stressed the importance of sensing responsibility in carrying out the tasks of each teacher and the role it has to develop the educational process and maintain academic performance of students and enable them to improve academic achievement.

The minister urged the teachers to perform their duties skillfully and in a way that preserves their time and effort, while distancing themselves from work that may bring them more burden and affect the educational process.
