French ambassador Franck Gellet took a ride on the Doha Metro on Wednesday.
"All our best wishes to Doha Metro, the most modern subway system in the world, opening today to the public," the French embassy tweeted. "(The) French people are passionate about the Metro, a safe, fast and eco-friendly means of transport."
