Qatar Fuel (Woqod) yesterday opened Wadi Aba Seleel Petrol Station, increasing the strength of its network of various petrol stations to 87, according to a statement.
Woqod CEO Saad Rashid al-Muhannadi explained that the company aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort.
Wadi Aba Seleel Petrol Station, spread over an area of 9,600sqm, has three lanes with six dispensers and a separate lane with two diesel dispensers for trucks.
The permanent facility will offer round-the-clock services, including a Sidra convenience store, manual car wash, oil change and tyre repair, and sale of LPG cylinders, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.
“Woqod is currently overseeing the implementation of 30 new petrol stations, which will be operational during 2019,” said al-Muhannadi.
“As part of its strategic expansion plan, Woqod is targeting the achievement of a total of 134 fuel stations by the end of 2020,” he added.
