More than 1,200 photographers participated and competed to show the beauty, nature and history of Qatar
Hyatt Plaza Mall concluded its photo exhibition recently, featuring the mall’s first edition of “Capture Qatar” contest, aimed at highlighting Qatar’s beautiful scenery.
The competition, held between April 25 and May 4, received more than 1,200 entries from photographers in the country.
“Being a family shopping destination, we are always keen to offer activities and events to all citizens and expats to give them the opportunity to express their love to Qatar. In addition, we are always aiming to engage community in Mall activations”, Hyatt Plaza Mall marketing head Mohamed al-Hawamdeh said in a statement.
Organised by Hyatt Plaza Shopping Mall and Youth Hobbies Center, the photo exhibition is one of the competitions that aims to embody the beauty, present, history and heritage of Qatar.
The closing ceremony of Capture Qatar honoured the first 10 winners with top range cameras as gifts and an exclusive Hyatt Plaza VIP Card. In addition, 100 participants received certificates of appreciation.
