Oryx GTL has been honoued by Qatar Diabetes Association (QDA) for its support.
Oryx GTL officials recently met with Dr Abdulla al-Hamaq, executive director of QDA, and Awatif Hussein Elsayed and Rashid al-Mahmoud from the Finance Department, where they expressed their gratitude to Oryx GTL for supporting a number of projects and initiatives that benefit individuals and the community, a press statement noted. 
Dr al-Hamaq and his team were welcomed by Mohamed al-Enazi, chief administration officer at Oryx GTL, and Hussain al-Shammari from the Public Relations Department.
Dr al-Hamaq said, “We are very grateful for your continued support and generous contribution that enabled us to deliver a successful international Bawasil Camp, benefiting and empowering our children living with diabetes while bringing delight, joyful moments and beautiful experiences that will inevitably have a positive impact on their future. 
"This support is not new to Oryx GTL, which has been providing support to our major programmes like the(Rights of Students with Diabetes in schools. Thank you for believing in the mission of QDA and for being a valuable partner in improving the health of the community.”
Al-Enazi added, “Oryx GTL highly appreciates this visit and is pleased to contribute to the valuable work of Qatar Diabetes Association by providing healthcare and moral support to patients and their families in overcoming the disease and achieve a better lifestyle.
“Oryx GTL believes that all we do is our duty to our country and its people. We always seek to support and develop programmes and activities in the country in all their aspects, whether educational, health or environmental, which aim to foster capabilities and benefit individuals and families in Qatar."
At the end of the visit, Dr al-Hamaq presented a commemorative shield to Oryx GTL recognising its continued support for Qatar Diabetes Association's programmes and initiatives.
QDA is a member of Qatar Foundation.
