The Bedaya Ramadan Bazaar will run until May 21 at Al Mirqab Mall from 7pm to 1am daily, it was announced Wednesday.
The venture is supported by Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, and Al Mirqab Mall.
The Bazaar was inaugurated by Bedaya Center general manager Reem al-Sowaidi and Al Mana Malls general manager Rony Mourani on Tuesday.
The Bedaya Ramadan Bazaar, which symbolises the old popular Souq, is inspired by the 1,001 nights stories. There will be hourly story telling sessions for kids at the event that features 30 local startups promoting their goods.
The Bazaar aims to support small and medium businesses established by young Qatari entrepreneurs by providing them with the opportunity to showcase their products in a strategic location.
