Qatar Automobiles Company (QAC), the authorised distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso in Qatar, is participating in the 16th edition of Project Qatar.
The event is taking place at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre from today until May 1.
QAC is a subsidiary of NBK Group, which is a gold level sponsor of the event. They will join the NBK Group pavilion to welcome visitors who wish to explore a range of vehicles on display.
NBK Group has been associated with Project Qatar for many years and is a major supporter of the national exhibition, which showcases Qatar’s capabilities and progress.
"QAC continues to supply the Qatari market with buses and light trucks that combine durability and reliability, while remaining affordable in a competitive market," the company has said in a statement. The Fuso trucks are "perfectly suited to meet the demands and requirements of various sectors and provide services for passenger and staff transport, commercial operations and other kinds of business".
Hesham al-Sahn, general manager of QAC, said: “We welcome visitors to our pavilion who wish to take a closer look at a selection of our vehicles, especially the Mitsubishi Fuso Canter, the light truck holding the highest market share in Qatar.
“Our involvement in this event reflects our commitment to support this and all other national events that display the capabilities of Qatar and work to demonstrate its true image and achievements.”
The Fuso brand is known for its "trusted quality, economic efficiency, solid and functional design and committed services".
In the segment of light-duty trucks, the Mitsubishi Fuso Canter is the flagship product of the company and has the highest market share in Qatar, the statement noted.
In Qatar, the Canter has "accomplished huge success thanks to its safety standards, high performance, low cost of operation and lifetime value". In terms of design, the Canter is set for light-to-medium operations, with its rigid cab and chassis.
Being fuel efficient and needing less frequent maintenance, the Canter "guarantees that work is always running to secure more profits". Also, the performance, utility and longevity of Mitsubishi engines and the smooth-shifting transmission enhance fuel economy, positioning Canter at the top of its segment", the statement added.
