The Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces HE Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem checked Saturday on Saqr 21 military exercise, which is carried out by the Amiri Air Force.
He communicated with all the air bases participating in the exercise using video conference. 
The chief of staff listened to a briefing by operations and training acting director Brigadier General (Pilot) Saad Shaheen al-Sarea al-Kaabi, who is also head of the Saqr 21 evaluation team, deputy head of the Saqr 21 evaluation team Brigadier General Abdulaziz Ahmed al-Zaman, and by acting commander of fighter aircraft Brigadier General Khalid Nasser Hazaa al-Shahwani. 
Saqr 21 is divided into two sections, the first is Command Battle Simulations (CBX), and the second is IFX. It takes place from April 23-30 with participation from US Air Force, Turkish forces, the Ministry of Interior, Coast Guard, Amiri Naval Force, and Joint Special Force.
