His Highness the Deputy Amir, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani received the credentials of New Zealand's new ambassador to Qatar, Matthew Hawkins, at the Amiri Diwan on Monday.
The Deputy Amir welcomed the new ambassador and wished him success in his mission and the relations between Qatar and New Zealand further progress and prosperity.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings of New Zealand's leader to His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Deputy Amir.
