His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani chaired the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) of 2019 at the Amiri Diwan on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and the Amir's Personal Representative His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, Vice-Chairman of the Board.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, who is also a board member, and the other members of the board attended the meeting. During the meeting, the latest developments in Qatar 2022 football World Cup projects were reviewed, including infrastructure, stadiums and accommodation, besides the security plans and preparations for the tournament.
