A Munich court on Wednesday rejected a complaint made
by a woman from the Bavarian town of Holzkirchen who was incensed by
the noise of her neighbour's cow bells.
The woman and her husband complained that they had felt disturbed by
the sound coming from a meadow next to their home for years and
wanted a court to order their neighbour to put a stop to it.
Both husband and wife separately took the case to a lower court in
Munich, where it was rejected on two occasions.
Like his wife, the husband then took the case to the higher Munich
court, where both have now lost.
