Toyota has once again achieved success at the 2019 Golden Steering Awards, a premier annual competition, winning the Best Extreme 4x4 Award for the Land Cruiser VXS.
The event was attended by Firas Mufti, senior marketing manager for Toyota and Lexus, and Rami Khatib, marketing manager for Toyota, Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co (AAB) said in a press statement.
The Land Cruiser is a “true go anywhere, all-terrain four-wheel drive SUV that has always exceeded expectations all around the globe”.
The SUV offers elegance, sophistication and luxury while being tough and practical.
Moreover, it represents a “luxurious bridge between civilisation and adventure while offering not just excitement but also utility”.
“The new Land Cruiser reaffirms a tradition of quality and advanced technology. That is why when people think four-wheel drive SUV - they automatically think ‘Land Cruiser’ as it sets the standard,” the statement notes.
The Land Cruiser offers a number of safety features, such as airbags (driver, passenger, curtain, side, knee), ABS (anti-lock braking system), electronic brake distribution, active traction control, height active control, crawl control, parking sensor, power door lock (with speed lock), tyre inflation pressure warning, and others.
Toyota has a large line-up of vehicles, including the Corolla, the Camry, the Avalon, the RAV4, the Prado, and the Land Cruiser.
“Toyota vehicles, which are known for their quality, durability and reliability, are well-supported by AAB’s after-sales facilities, which include a network of eight service centres set up in various parts of the country - some of which are open seven days a week,” the statement adds.
AAB showrooms located on Airport Road and City Center Doha are open seven days a week, making it more convenient for customers to visit them at their convenience.
The main showroom is open from 8am to 9pm, Saturday to Thursday, and from 5pm to 9pm on Fridays.
The City Center Doha showroom is open from 10am to 10pm, Saturday to Thursday, and from 5pm to 10pm on Fridays.
