the Speaker of the Advisory Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid
al-Mahmoud met yesterday with Kazakhstan Mazhilis of Parliament Chairman
Nurlan Nigmatulin and his accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of
the 140th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and
its related meetings currently held in Doha. During the meeting, they
discussed the parliamentary relations
between the Advisory Council
and the Kazakhstan parliament, as well as the topics on the agenda of
the 140th IPU General Assembly and its related meetings. A number of
members of the Advisory Council and Kazakhstan ambassador to Qatar Askar
Shokybayev attended the meeting.
