Qatar and Latvia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to hold political
consultations between the foreign ministries of both countries. The first round of political
consultation between the foreign ministries of Qatar and Latvia was held yesterday in Riga, capital of Latvia. Qatar’s side was chaired by HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al-Hammadi, while Latvia’s side was headed by State Secretary of Latvia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andris Pelss. During the consultations bilateral relations and ways to develop them, as well as the latest regional and global developments were discussed.
