HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari visited the stand of Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company (QIMC) at the Hannover Fair, which will run until April 5.
The minister’s visit to the QIMC stand was part of his tour of the Qatar Pavilion. Qatar is participating at the fair in a 1,000sq m pavilion, bringing together public authorities and private companies. 
The Hannover Fair is the world’s largest trade exhibition in the industrial sector and attracts the largest production companies in the world, and is the leading platform for industry technology.
QIMC participation at Hannover Fair aims to promote its industries before international audience and to familiarise the global community with investment opportunities across its businesses.
QIMC was established with 20%-80% government-private equity interests respectively. QIMC became one of the pioneering companies in the field of small and medium scale industries in Qatar. 
Currently, QIMC has equity interest in 20 operational projects in various industrial sectors including chemicals, petrochemicals, construction materials and food processing. QIMC is also currently investigating the economic feasibility of several other projects in collaboration with local and foreign interested parties.
Hannover Fair is a leading trade exhibition that gathers more than 6,500 exhibitors from across the world. The event also discusses various related topics such as automatisation, Information Technology, services, energy, and environment technology.
