HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem, has represented Qatar in the ceremony held in Tampa, Florida by the US Central Command for the Middle-East on the occasion of General Frank Mckenzie's assumption of command and the retirement of the US Central Command's commander General Joseph Votel. The ceremony was attended by Qatar's ambassador to the US Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad al-Thani, and military attache at the embassy in Washington Colonel Nawaf bin Mubarak al-Thani.
