Chief of Staff attends US Central Command meeting

HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem took part in the meeting of Central Command, Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) states, Jordan and Egypt, which was held in Tampa, Florida, US at the invitation of Commander of United States Central Command General Joseph Votel. The meeting discussed counter-terrorism efforts. The Chief of Staff also held a meeting with General Votel, to discuss the military ties between the two countries and means to further boost and promote them.
