Vodafone Qatar has announced that it is has completed the roll out of its GigaNet fibre connectivity across the Aspire Zone sports complex, home to some of the world’s finest sporting facilities and due to play a prominent role in the upcoming 2022 World Cup.
The fibre connectivity, capable of handling speeds of up to 1Gigabit per second, coupled with Vodafone’s live 5G network, now provides the Aspire Zone with a world-class communications infrastructure that allows its facilities to optimise, automate, and innovate.
With hundreds of thousands of visitors expected to descend on Aspire Zone in four years to watch the Middle East’s first World Cup inside Khalifa Stadium, high speed connectivity and technology will form a large part of delivering an unforgettable fan experience.
