Organisers of the 6th Qatar International Boat Show (QIBS), AlMannai Plus Events, presented top awards to the winners of 2019 edition at a gala dinner hosted at Mondrian Doha.
Best Stand Presentation Award was won by Speed Marine; the Best Shipyard Participation award went to Nobiskrug GmbH; the Best Marina Developer Award was received by Qatar Free Zones Authority while the Featured Participation Award was won by Coast Guard, Ministry of Interior, and Rafco Marine.
Mazen Taha, Mohamed AlKhodary and Elena Chikina were presented Best Employee Achievement Award. The awards were presented by Khalid Issa al-Mannai, chairman AlMannai Plus Events and Loay Dalis, CEO, AlMannai Plus Events. Present at the gala dinner were a large number of diplomats, dignitaries, participating companies and guests. Dalis in his address thanked all the participating companies including exhibitors, sponsors and supporters.
He said that QIBS will be acknowledging participating exhibitors and the sponsors as per the company’s tradition at the closing ceremony today at the VIP Zone in The Pearl-Qatar.
AlMannai Plus Event, under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, has been organising QIBS for the last six years. The 2019 QIBS was inaugurated by HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, on March 12.
