Qatar has condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist and brutal attack on mosques in New Zealand that has killed dozens of people.
In a statement yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.
The statement stressed the total refusal of Qatar to target places of worship and terrorise peaceful people.
The ministry also expressed Qatar's condolences to the victims' families and to the Government and the people of New Zealand and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
