The Ministry of Interior's (MoI) data have shown that the total number of students enrolled in its scholarship programme was 647 students as of February 28, of whom 438 were interns and 209 were external students at the levels of diploma, bachelor, master and doctorate.

According to the data, five students are currently enrolled in doctoral programmes, while 22 others enrolled in the masters programme in military and civilian colleges, 563 at bachelor degree level and 57 at the diploma level.

According to data, the number of students enrolled in military institutes and colleges reached 352, while 295 students were enrolled in civil universities. The share of educational institutions in Qatar was the highest with 438 students, 72 in British universities, 67 in American universities and 28 in Polish universities. The rest of the students are distributed to a number of prestigious universities in other countries.

The year 2019 is expected to witness the graduation of 196 students.

The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Human Resources Department, paid special attention to its scholarship programmes within the framework of the ministry's plan to develop and qualify its cadres.

Moved by this vision, the Human Resources Department oversees various programmes and plans for students in the military and civil fields in accordance with the two tracks of internal scholarship by enrolling them in educational institutions inside Qatar, and externally by sending them to accredited educational institutions outside Qatar.
