His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held telephone conversations Saturday with the prime ministers of Pakistan and India, Imran Khan and Narendra Modi, respectively. 
His Highness Sheikh Tamim and Prime Minister Imran exchanged views on the regional and international developments, especially the differences between Pakistan and India.
In this context, the Amir called for calm between the two neighbouring countries, stressing the importance of dialogue to resolve dispute. 
His Highness the Amir's conversation with Prime Minister Modi focused on reviewing the strong bilateral ties, in addition to reviewing the most prominent regional and international developments, particularly the dispute between India and Pakistan.
In that regard, the Amir called for exercising restraint, stressing the importance of dialogue in resolving dispute. For his part, the Indian prime minister thanked the Amir for the phone call, for his interest, and for the call to resolve the dispute.
