HE Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, Attorney General (AG) and the UN Advocate for the Prevention of Corruption, met with Rwanda’s Minister of State in charge of Constitutional and Legal Affairs Evode Uwizeyimana. 
During the meeting, the Attorney General was briefed on the distribution of powers in Rwanda, the jurisdiction and types of courts, and functions of the Public Prosecution and other bodies involved in the fight against corruption. 
Also, the Attorney General met with Rwanda’s Minister of Local Government Anastase Shyaka, who briefed him about the development of the legal and constitutional system in his country and the constitutions adopted since its independence, as well as the development of anti-corruption mechanisms because of the policies 
and strategies followed. 
The two sides agreed to increase co-operation in this area and exchange experiences.
