Tiffany & Co is showcasing over 200 breathtaking masterpieces at the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2019 (DJWE), exemplifying over 180 years of the brand’s luxury design legacy and style.
Tiffany’s curated collection of exquisite diamonds and gemstones will be on display at DJWE, the region’s most coveted luxury jewellery show being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre until February 25.
Highlights include rare designs of exceptional beauty by one of the 20th century’s most gifted artists, Jean Schlumberger. The timeless Diamond Gold Bird on a Rock Brooch and Enamel and Diamond Bracelet, reflect Schlumberger’s genius in transforming nature’s wonders into objects of mesmerising beauty.
A celebration of extraordinary artistry, Tiffany is also showcasing high jewellery pieces that push the boundaries of design. A treasure by the brand’s chief artistic officer Reed Krakoff, the Pendant in Platinum with over 43 total carats of round and oval tanzanite; over 33 total carats of baguette and custom-cut diamonds; and over 18 total carats of round sapphires will dazzle visitors.
White diamond purists will be captivated by the 50 carat flawless solitaire diamond ring – incredibly rare and not just brilliant, but spectacular. An equally fascinating piece is the Platinum and Diamond necklace with over 3,000 mixed-cut diamonds, which total over 100 carats, to form flowing strands of emerald-cut, pear-shaped and round brilliant diamonds that mimic the dramatic beauty of a waterfall.
Tiffany’s chief gemologist Melvyn Kirtley, who brings a depth of knowledge spanning more than 30 years, is in attendance at the exhibition to provide expert gemological insight into the exceptional quality of Tiffany’s diamonds and gemstones.
Joe Nahhas, vice president of Middle East & Africa, said: “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase a collection of design masterpieces that collectively have never before been seen in the region. We look forward to welcoming visitors to explore and enjoy.”
“At Alfardan Jewellery, we continually thrive to showcase the best in the high jewellery sector at this exhibition. We are proud to work with Tiffany & Co for this year’s 16th edition and we believe in the value that such an internationally-acclaimed jeweller represents for the fair,” said Ali Alfardan, vice chairman of Alfardan Group and president of Alfardan Jewellery.
