Ooredoo will renew its sponsorship of HH The Amir’s Silver Sword race at the upcoming HH The Amir’s Sword Festival, which is set to begin on Thursday at Al Rayyan Park.
HH The Amir’s Sword Festival is one of the most prominent international horse racing events in the region, featuring some of the best local and international horses.
The three day racing extravaganza will see a total of 27 races, with Al Zubara Trophy for local Purebred Arabians the feature on the first day.
Friday’s card consists of nine races with the Group 2 Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Cup, a mile-long race with a total prize money of USD200,000, the feature.
The third and final day of the festival will host some of the biggest races of the festival.
The sixth race of the card will be HH The Amir’s Silver Sword, which is presented by Ooredoo. The 1850m race for four-year-old Purebred Arabians carries a prize purse of USD250,000.
