Gorkha Service Society (GSS), Nepali community organisation in Qatar, recently elected its new management committee at its 10th general assembly. The new office bearers, include Rajeshwor Dhakal, Chairperson; Ramzi Khatri, Senior Vice-Chairperson; Om Raj Gurung and Gyanendra Neupane, Vice-Chairpersons; Purushottam Lamichhane, General Secretary; Bikash Shrestha, Secretary; Gokarna Bhattarai, Sub-Secretary; and Hikmatdin Miya, treasurer. GSS also elected co-ordinators and members.
The event was attended by notable personalities, including TB Karki, Budhabal Gurung, Sudarshan Bhatta, Shree Krishna Bhattarai, Bill Bahadur Gurung, Bimal Subedi, Kumar Karki, Binod Bhattarai, Tej Katuwal and Chanak Pokhrel.
