Masraf Al Rayan held Sunday its annual blood donation campaign for 2019, in collaboration with the Blood Donation Unit at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).The event, which was held at the bank’s head office, came as part of Masraf Al Rayan’s long standing social responsibility strategy set to provide HMC’s blood bank with the necessary supplies that could be used in saving lives and at the same time in raising awareness of the significance of donating blood among the general public.
Nasser Raeissi, general manager, Human Resources & Administration at Masraf Al Rayan, lauded the campaign and the level of participation by the bank’s employees and customers.
He also commended the effective collaboration with HMC in their endeavor to reach higher humanitarian goals.
The participants from all departments of the bank and customers expressed their great satisfaction with the worthwhile cause, as they are being part of this year’s campaign and the contribution they are making to alleviate the suffering of many people who may be in need of medical help.
