His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met Friday at his residence in Munich with Afghanistan's President Dr Mohamed Ashraf Ghani and his accompanying delegation on the sidelines of the 55th Munich Security Conference. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations, ways to support and develop them, as well as a number of issues of joint interest. The meeting was attended by the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani attended a luncheon banquet held at the invitation of the President of Munich Security Conference Wolfgang Ischinger, at the conference headquarters. Presidents, executive heads and a number of senior officials in the security, strategic, economic and media fields participating at the conference attended the banquet.
