Qatar Charity (QC), through its headquarters in Qatar and many field offices worldwide, participated in Qatar National Sport Day events with a number of special activities focused on the importance of linking the practice of sport to humanitarian work.
In collaboration with Qatar University (QU), Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), Planning and Statistics Authority, and others, QC contributed to a number of activities, including walking, conveying a message that says “everyone has the right to education.” 
QC also took part in the football and volleyball matches held with QU teams. 
The sport events were attended by Mohamed Ali al-Ghamdi, assistant to the CEO in the Governance and Institutional Development Sector at QC, Ali Gharib, director of Local Development Department, Adel Lamy, director of Public Relations and many officials and employees.
The orphans sponsored by QC across the globe, in many countries including Indonesia, Somalia, Sri Lanka, and Palestine participated in the activities of the Qatar National Sport Day.
