The Armed Forces Shooting Championship (2018-2019), organised by the Military Sports Association under the patronage of HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem, concluded with the participation of six teams representing the officers and personnel.
The final day of the championship witnessed the victory of the Qatari Amiri Land Forces team in the shooting rifle competition, while the special forces team won the shooting gun competition.
The joint special forces team won the trophy for the overall championship, which started on January 29.
Al Ghanem honoured the winners and handed over the trophy for the overall championship to HE the Commander of the Joint Special Forces Brigadier General Hamad bin Abdullah Fetais al-Marri.
