Amir meets Micronesia speaker

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on Wednesday met at his office at the Amiri Diwan with Wesley Simina, Speaker of Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia and Asia-Pacific Group in the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and his accompanying delegation. At the outset of the meeting, Simina congratulated the Amir on the victory of the Qatar National Team in the 2019 Asian Cup. They also reviewed relations between Qatar and the IPU in parliamentary and legislative fields. Qatar will host the 140th Assembly of the IPU in April.
