Katara the Cultural Village Foundation has opened three art exhibitions at its different venues and art galleries.
Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, general manager of Katara, opened the exhibitions along with several ambassadors and some artists and enthusiasts in attendance. “We are always keen on diversifying the arts at Katara by hosting different art exhibitions of different trends,” al-Sulaiti noted.
The first exhibition is a photograph collection titled 'Sport Moments' which highlight some of the prominent Qatari figures and sportsmen.

The second exhibition is by the Kuwaiti artist Abdallah al-Otaiby titled 'Emotions' where al-Otaiby illustrates some human emotions through artwork while the third exhibition is a collective work by a group of four Pakistani artists titled 'Visions'. The artists Shahla Khan, Mala Wassim, Adnan Siraj and Shazia Bahenji said they are participating with their artworks in Katara for the first time and they have expressed many meanings through their paintings describing different visions of people. Al-Sulaiti added that Katara promotes not only Qatari artists, but also artists from all around the world.
